Mount Kenya Selection AA+
This selection of the finest coffees from the region surrounding Mount Kenya, Africa’s second-highest mountain, comes from smallholder farmers organized in various cooperatives. These exceptional Arabica coffees are grown at high altitudes between 1,750 and 1,900 meters above sea level on fertile volcanic soil along the slopes of Mount Kenya.
The harvest season runs from November to December. After picking, the cherries are pulped at the wet mill and washed with fresh river water. They are then sun-dried on raised beds before being transferred to the dry mill for further processing and preparation for export.
In the cup, the Mount Kenya Selection AA+ reveals an intense, fruity profile with a full body and a vibrant aroma. Notes of currants and light stone fruits, complemented by a subtle sweetness reminiscent of caramelized lime, create the distinctive character typical of high-quality Kenyan coffee.

Why 20 minutes of roasting time make all the difference
Industrial coffee is often “shock-roasted” at around 600 °C for just 90 seconds. The result: burnt on the outside, acidic on the inside. At Turm, we take our time. Our beans are roasted for up to 20 minutes at lower temperatures, allowing irritants and excess acidity to break down. Your stomach will thank you.
